Our objective is to build circular economy solutions in Africa that address huge employment deficit and social crisis caused by poverty and youth disenfranchisement
Nigeria generates more than 42million tonnes of waste annually with 70% of the waste generated ending on dumpsites
Considering the whole focus on Plastic wastes and less on other non-biodegradeable solid waste, we aim to be the creative research hub for non-biodegradable solid wastes in Africa
BEYOND PLASTIC WASTE
With 99% focus on Plastic wastes, other form of non-biodegradable solid wastes are left unattended to.
HIGH RATE OF UNEMPLOYMENT
More than 40 million Nigerians are unemployed with 65% unemployable due to lack of education and skills
BASE OF THE PYRAMID INTERVENTION
Most skill transfer interventions are focused on semi-learned people while majority of the unemployed people are illiterates with no formal education.
We train the unemployed and unemployable on waste to wealth skills and empower them to be financially independent by building easily accessible, highly sustainable eco-friendly products from municipal solid waste
Our grassroot advocacy and sensitization is focused on waste reuse and recycling, charting revenue pathway from waste and raising conversations on circular economy solutions/market penetration.
